News on the School
Most of you have probably heard the news that the Weald School has been put into special measures and we are very sorry to hear that news. The plan is for the Weald to become an academy and whilst this changes the available funding sources it might not take away the School's plans to raise money by building on its Green Belt land. We will keep you informed of developments and try and include links to press articles, and comments from the authorities as they become available.
We are sure everyone wants to work with the School's new governing body to help in any way we can but we remain resolute in fighting unnecessary housing in the green fields at the Weald and elsewhere in the village of Beare Green.
